What to Expect at Your Urgent Care Visit
If you have never been to urgent care, here is how a visit at Pioneer Physicians works, start to finish. The goal is simple: get you seen, tested, and treated in one stop.
Step by step
- Check in. Walk in or arrive for your reserved spot. Bring a photo ID and insurance card if you have one.
- See a provider. A provider reviews your symptoms and examines you.
- Get tested on site. Any X-ray, lab work, or EKG you need happens right in the clinic.
- Get treatment and a plan. You leave with a diagnosis, treatment, and clear next steps, including any prescriptions.
What to bring
- A photo ID
- Your insurance card, if you have one
- A list of your current medications
- For a child, their vaccination record if you have it
No insurance? Still come in.
You can be seen without insurance. Ask about our self-pay rates, which are lower than typical urgent-care or ER fees.
