Yes, we do blood work, with the sample taken in our clinic and the testing done by an outside lab. Whether you need to fast depends on the test. From downtown Lockport it is about 8.6 miles and roughly 17 minutes. The route goes west on 9th Street (IL 7), turns north on Independence Boulevard (IL 53), then takes a left to stay on IL 53, which is South Bolingbrook Drive from there to the clinic.

Do urgent cares do blood work?
Ours does. Blood is drawn at our Bolingbrook clinic and an outside lab does the testing, so those results come later, after you’ve left. Can I get UTI testing near Lockport without an appointment?

Do I need to fast before blood work?
Only for some tests, so ask the provider who ordered yours. When fasting is required, MedlinePlus says to have nothing but plain water and to skip gum, smoking and exercise.
