Does Urgent Care Do X-Rays, Lab Tests, and EKG?
Yes. Pioneer Physicians has on-site X-ray, in-house lab testing, and EKG. Having these in the clinic means we can find the problem and treat it during the same visit, instead of sending you to a separate imaging center or lab and making you wait days for answers.
On-site X-ray
We use X-ray to check for suspected fractures, sprains, and dislocations, and for chest concerns like pneumonia or bronchitis. If you need advanced imaging such as a CT or MRI, we will point you to the right place.
In-house and send-out lab testing
We run rapid tests during your visit for strep, flu, COVID-19, and urine infections, and we draw blood for send-out panels when a more detailed result is needed. We also screen for blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol.
EKG on site
When a provider wants to check your heart rhythm, we can perform an EKG right in the clinic.

Common questions
How fast are test results?
In-house rapid tests often come back during your visit. Send-out labs take longer, and we follow up with your results.
Do you have a CT scanner?
No. Urgent care uses X-ray and lab testing. For CT or MRI, we refer you to a hospital or imaging center.
Do I need an appointment for an X-ray?
No. X-ray is part of your walk-in visit when a provider decides you need it.
