What we treat for Romeoville adults and kids
We treat illnesses and minor injuries that need care today but are not emergencies. MedlinePlus describes urgent care as the right stop for problems like colds, flu, earaches, sore throats, sprains and minor broken bones when your own doctor cannot see you soon enough. Urgent care, immediate care and walk-in clinic are different names for the same kind of visit. Common reasons people come in:
- Colds, coughs, flu and COVID-19
- Sore throat, with a rapid strep test when your symptoms call for one
- Ear infections, sinus infections and pink eye
- Urinary tract infections
- Sprains, strains and possible broken bones
- Rashes and mild allergic reactions
- Mild asthma flare-ups
- Fevers in children
Care for babies, kids and teens
We care for children starting in infancy and continuing through the teen years, along with adults. Our page on pediatric urgent care for Romeoville families covers kids’ visits in more detail.
Other services at the same clinic
Beyond sick visits, we offer primary care, DOT physicals, flu shots, allergy testing, asthma treatment, women’s health visits, telehealth visits, medical weight loss, IV hydration therapy and peptide therapy. Call the front desk if you are not sure which kind of visit to book.

X-ray and rapid tests during your visit
We have X-ray on site every day we are open, so a twisted ankle or a sore wrist can be checked in one stop. If an injury needs support, we have splints and crutches here too.
Rapid strep, flu and COVID tests, urinalysis and EKG are done during the visit. Blood is drawn here and sent to an outside lab, so those results arrive later. We do not have CT or MRI. Read more about walk-in X-ray at our Bolingbrook clinic.

STD testing near Romeoville
We test for common STIs at our Bolingbrook clinic, and testing is confidential. Some results come back the same day, and others are sent to an outside lab.
You can use your insurance or choose self-pay; call (630) 914-5373 for current self-pay pricing. If you have symptoms, mention them when you check in. Our page on confidential STD testing explains what to expect.
School and sports physicals for Romeoville students
We do sports, school and annual physicals, and you can walk in or save a spot online. Most of Romeoville is in Valley View School District 365U, the same district that covers most of Bolingbrook. The Village of Romeoville notes that Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 serves parts of the village as well.
The Illinois Department of Public Health explains that the school physical is recorded on the state’s Certificate of Child Health Examination before preschool, within a year before kindergarten or first grade, when starting sixth and ninth grade, and when a child first enrolls in a school. Exams done after January 1, 2025 must use the updated form, which adds a line for social, emotional and developmental screening, so bring the current version from your school.
Bring any sports form from the coach or athletic office too, along with your child’s immunization record. Our page on sports and school physicals near Romeoville has more detail.

Where Romeoville children get vaccines
We do not give childhood vaccinations, so plan for school shots separately from the physical. Routine shots come from your child’s regular doctor or the Will County Health Department, which offers childhood and adult vaccines at its Joliet, Bolingbrook and Monee locations. Call its immunization clinic at 815-740-8143 to schedule.
The health department’s Northern Branch is at 323 Quadrangle Drive in Bolingbrook. Ask when you call which location and day work best for the shots your child needs.

Insurance we accept
We accept Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, UnitedHealthcare, Humana and Illinois Medicaid plans, including HFS, Meridian, CountyCare, Molina and YouthCare. Plans and networks vary, so call (630) 914-5373 to confirm your specific plan before you drive over. Self-pay is available too, and the questions below explain how it works.
