How far is Bolingbrook from Lemont?
Our clinic is about 8 miles and 14 minutes by car from downtown Lemont, based on road-routing data that assumes no traffic. Downtown Lemont and our clinic are less than 4 miles apart in a straight line. The fastest route heads north first, though, so the drive is roughly double that distance.
From downtown, take State Street north. It turns into Lemont Road and crosses the Des Plaines River. Stay on Lemont Road up to I-55 and take I-55 South. Leave the expressway at exit 267 for IL 53 and Bolingbrook, then turn right onto Bolingbrook Drive and go less than a mile to 148 S Bolingbrook Dr. Rush-hour traffic on I-55 can stretch the trip, so check a map app before you leave.

Immediate care and walk-in clinic care near Lemont
Urgent care, immediate care and walk-in clinic are three names for the same kind of visit: same-day care for an illness or injury that is not life-threatening, with no appointment. That is what we offer, from one location in Bolingbrook.
You can simply walk in. If you would rather hold a place first, save your spot online and then make the drive. The trip usually makes sense when your regular doctor is closed or booked, on a Saturday or Sunday, or when an injury may need an X-ray the same day.

Urgent care near Lemont for adults and kids
We treat adults and children. Our pediatric urgent care covers infancy through the teen years, and parents can read more on our page about pediatric urgent care for Lemont families. Common reasons for a visit include:
- Sore throat, cough, cold and flu symptoms
- Ear pain and sinus pressure
- Burning or frequent urination
- Pink eye and skin rashes
- Sprains, strains and possible broken bones
- Asthma symptoms that need a check but not emergency care
Other care at the same clinic
The same Bolingbrook office also offers primary care, DOT physicals, STD testing, telehealth visits, flu shots, allergy testing, women’s health visits, medical weight loss, IV hydration therapy and peptide therapy.
X-ray and rapid tests in the same visit
Every day we are open, we can take an X-ray on site. We keep splints and crutches here too, so a twisted ankle or sore wrist can be checked and supported without a separate imaging appointment. Our walk-in X-ray page explains how it works.
Rapid strep, flu and COVID tests, urinalysis and EKG are done during the visit. If you need blood work, we draw it here and send it to an outside lab. We do not have CT or MRI. Those scans are done at a hospital or an imaging center.

School and sports physicals for Lemont students
We do school and sports physicals. Check your child’s school forms first, because the grade and the sport decide what paperwork you need.
Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A asks for a physical and immunization records for preschool, kindergarten, sixth grade and students new to the district. Its health office says physicals and immunizations must be on file by October 15 of the school year, or the student is excluded under district policy. Kindergarten also needs dental and eye exam forms, which are separate from the physical.
The district also requires a sports physical for any student on an athletic team and counts it as good for 395 days from the exam date. If it runs out during the season, the student needs a new one.
Illinois requires a health exam on the state Certificate of Child Health Examination when a student enters sixth grade and ninth grade. That means freshmen at Lemont High School (District 210, 800 Porter Street) need one as well. Bring the school’s form and your child’s immunization record. Our school and sports physicals page has the rest of the list.

Where Lemont children get routine vaccines
We do not give childhood vaccinations. Routine shots come from your child’s regular doctor or the county health department.
For nearly everyone who lives in the village of Lemont, that county is Cook. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that Lemont had 18,513 residents in July 2025. All but 8 of them live in the Cook County part of the village, with the rest in DuPage and Will counties. The Cook County Department of Public Health lists Lemont among the suburbs it serves, and its website has a page for finding its immunization clinics. Check there for current dates and places.

We are open 7 days a week, 8 AM to 8 PM, Saturdays and Sundays included, and walk-ins are welcome. We are not a 24-hour clinic.
